So my flatmates have an interesting bet going on. As you may well know if you follow the Premiership, Man City have been splashing their cash, buying a whole host of ‘top’ players. Arsenal, have recently selling 2 of their best players, (well I could debate on that, that’ll be for another post), look like they may be ousted out of the so called Top 4.
So my friend Rej, set out the following terms:
I bet you £20 Man City go above Arsenal in the league this season.
My other buddy, Jimmy also added another little sidebet:
I bet you a fiver that Man City do not get into the top 5.
I personally think Arsenal will be OK as long as we bring in another defender which we haven’t done yet. In Wenger We Trust!
As for the bet, methinks Jimmy will be picking up a smart £25 from my naive Welsh chum. ;)
